Our Qualifications

Matthew Cano started his financial services career in 1998 with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.  Having the opportunity to work with a New York Stock Exchange member firm has provided him the critical training to help individuals and small business owners grow and protect their assets.

Mr. Cano was asked to join the Investment Division for Bank of the West as a Vice President and Financial Consultant in 2002.  He focused on helping Bank of the West customers with their investment and retirement planning needs.

In 2004, Mr. Cano was invited to join the Bank of Albuquerque as a Vice President and Senior Financial Consultant.  While he was with the Bank of Albuquerque, he focused on helping the clients of the bank manage their risk by utilizing a comprehensive financial plan.  He also focused on investment planning, retirement planning, and small business retirement plans.

Following his experience with a wire house brokerage firm and two bank investment programs, Mr. Cano felt to provide his clients with unbiased financial advice he needed to become an independent financial advisor.  In 2011, Mr. Cano became the owner of his own independent financial planning and investment management firm.  Mr. Cano's clients include individuals, couples, professionals, and small business owners seeking a holistic approach to financial planning.
